This is our new chalet at the Isle of Whithorn and it's special like the others but this chalet is just yards from the sea. (View below at bottom of page).
From the patio windows you can watch the incoming and ebbing tide, weather gentle and calm ,or stormy with crashing waves the view is dramatic. Walk a few yards passed the next chalet to a bench and enjoy watching the spindrift atop the waves.
Behind the chalet is just fields and a bracing walk. So apart from the odd seagull nothing will disturb your peace.
Private garden (NOT FENCED IN!!), surrounds the chalet. One double bedroom with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a single bed. Bathroom was recently modernised with a shower over the bath. A very well equipped kitchen: cooker, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, iron etc. Wifi.
The lounge has a woodburning stove to enjoy - bring a net of logs with you.
Electric storage heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, WiFi, selection of local guide and history books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars.
Entry to the chalet:- is via a key safe at the back door. Your combination for this will be sent to you before you travel. Please acknowledge receipt.
When leaving just ensure all windows are closed, water heater is off, doors are locked and return the keys to the safe, spinning the dials to lock. Check in from 4pm, earlier if required and subject to previous guests etc, with check out by 11a.m.
Small to medium dogs welcome please enquire. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and cafe, pub, harbour 3 mins walk. Coast 2 min walk. Note: mobile phone reception can be variable.
